Re: Wanting to find a Sportfire or Liquifire in the Midwest.
I will keep that in mind. Looks like you are almost 8 hours away, and I am looking to do some mods to it anyway. Something that nice would be better for someone wanting to keep it all original. But who knows, my mind may change. Sounds like a very nice sled. Could you post a pic or two?

Wanting to find a Sportfire or Liquifire in the Midwest.
Having the itch again, and I am looking for a project sled. Would love to find a 80-81 Sportfire or Liquifire close to North Central Illinois. A Sportfire is number one choice. Complete would be best, but can work around a few missing parts. Been searching CL in the area. No such luck so far. A coup...

Re: Looking to build a Frankensled. Couple quick questions
Thank you Matt. Once I get this project underway, I am sure I will be purchasing some parts again from Newbreed.

Looking to build a Frankensled. Couple quick questions
Picked up a very rough 81 Liquifire chassis. No engine. Tunnel is screwed up beyond repair in the right rear corner. Planning on using the bulkhead to install the Kawasaki Intruder Fan cooled 440 in it. Since I will not be needing heat exchangers, will a trailfire/sportfire tunnel mount up to the Li...

I used Yamabond when I did my changing of seals, and orings on my 81' Trailfire. Also, I may have a airbox here for one if you are still in need?

Re: Liquifire Prototype
In the first pic that is posted at that race of the Liquifire, I can't help but notice how similar the graphics are to this Massey Ferguson that is on craigslist near me. Maybe it's just me, but the color, style, and shape is almost exact. Her is a link to the sled http://lasalle.craigslist.org/bar/...

Re: 1981 Trailfire project
Was able to mostly button up the Trailfire for this season. Still will need to get a new windshield, and want to get the seat recovered yet. But was able to take it for a victory lap around my yard today.

Re: 1981 Trailfire project
Getting pretty close with it now. Need to finish the seat, and get a windshield, and button up the suspension pieces. Also need to paint the muffler. Hopefully soon I can call it done

Re: 1981 Trailfire project
Got my graphics in today from jdsleddecals and couldn't wait to put them on. Tunnel graphics went really nice. The hood graphics, I think I may have them a little low in the front edges on the sides. But still very happy overall. Can't wait to finish it and get it out in some snow for pics and a ride
