Just wondering if anyone figured anything else out on the indy cdi unit. Would be nice to find a replacement for the cdi/coil unit,as all i have is a stator for a "82" and would like to run the newer ignition.

Would anyone know where i could still get a rebuild kit for a 5 layer mikuni fuel pump??Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks

Have a question,does anyone know if it is a must to have the mikuni 5 layer fuel pump to make a 80 lf run right??Someone replaced it with a 3 layer pump and i know these had a special 5 layer on them.If so does anyone know where i could find one??

Hey murray appreciate you checking your stator for me.I also found out today that you have to check the ac volts output of the coils by cranking engine over.Should have 40 volts ac red to case and 4 volts ac red to white while cranking engine over.

I've got the stock pj carbs i think i'll clean them and give them a try.I know i'll have to richen them a little to compensate for pipes and air filters.Something just isn't right with it.I think i'm running resistor br9es at .025 gap.Will try b9es. thanks!!
