295/S for sale.... SOLD!!!

Hey everybody. I've decided to sell my 295. Just don't have the time/money to work on her. And now I've lost my storage where I've been keeping it. I bought it with the intention of restoration, but now I think it just best to pass it on to somebody who can give it the attention it deserves. It's al...

Re: C/L 295/s

Where do you get the crank seals? I've had a 295 for some time now. I've been hesitant to get her going because I know those seals should be replaced. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

Re: Another proud 295/S owner!!!

Thanks guys! I'm getting more and more excited about it every minute! I set a nice original seat off a Cyclone on there today. Looks good but will need some minor modification to the wood mounting board. I also put some of the loose plastic cowling back on the sled. She's just waiting for a spot in ...

Re: Another proud 295/S owner!!!

Thanks guys! I'm still stunned that I found one. It does have the correct motor and dual tanks. Looks like most everything is there. Turns over too. The previous owner said he had it going a few years back. I feel pretty lucky!

I'd be interested in one of your calendars. Did you ever get another run printed?

Thanks

I'm guessing it didn't go well? Breakdown? Oh and Kulture Vulture, there's a jacket exactly like that one on Ebay right now. Check it out.

Re: 74 JDX8... NO SPARK... I know, broken record right?

First, thank you all for your responses. I love the camaraderie of this site! Yes, no spark on either cylinder...very odd. So, it seems the general consensus is that my ignition generating coils on the stator are bad. Is this correct? So should I go ahead and tear into the motor and test the resista...

Re: 74 JDX8... NO SPARK... I know, broken record right?

By unpluging the connector at the engine you will eliminate the kill and key switch from the ignition curcuit. So unplug that and see if you have spark when you pull the engine over. Use two know good plugs. Post results and we will go from there. I already unplugged the kill/key switch connector a...
