1975 300 for sale

I am selling my 1975 JD300. I am selling it because I have too many other projects, I thought I could get it running, but the parts I need are nearly impossible to find where I live. It will run if you pour gas down the carb, but it needs a rebuilt carburetor. It was Sold brand new in Avonlea, Saska...

Mikuni carb for a '75 300

I have been thinking about taking the Walbro out of my '75 300 and putting in a Mikuni VM 34 instead, but where would I get a fuel pump and how hard is it to install the Mikuni and the fuel pump?

Thanks in advance,
Liam

Re: Ugly 80,s Liquifires

I love those sleds, in fact after seeing an '81 Liquifire for the first time I decided that I needed to own a JD sled. But they would be even better if they didn't have a Kawasaki.

Re: JDX engine for a 300?

I'm still new to vintage sleds so I have a pretty stupid question, what's the driven sheave? And why would I need a drive bushing installed on my driveshaft if I don't have a speedo?

JDX engine for a 300?

I have had this idea for quite a while, but I haven't really looked into it that much. I was thinking that I could take the engine from a JDX and drop it into my '75 300, and make kind of a 300 "sleeper". I would keep the sled painted mean green and keep all of the 300 decals on. Would it ...

Electric fuel pump for a '75 300

Hi again,
I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried replacing the mechanical fuel pump on one of the Walbro carbs with an electric, or if its even possible?
I was also wondering if, with some slight modification, you could bolt on a 295/s carb to a '75 300?

Thanks,
Liam

Exactly what I need, but the listing has ended so it looks like I've got to wait a little bit longer.

Walbro rebuild kit

Hello again! I have been searching everywhere and I still can't seem to find a rebuild kit for the carb in my '75 300, so with winter approaching I figured there might be a few more members online who could help me out. Does anyone know where I could get a rebuild kit or is there anyone who would be...
