Lift the rear of the machine and check the slack in the track under the center of the snowmobile. You want a little slack under the bogie wheels in the center of the machine. If the track is to loose the drive cogs will slip over the cogs in the track. Howie

Jason: You were partially right when you said you were wondering if the brake band carried over to the tractor line. We used this same brake band on some of our early J.D. garden tractors @ Horicon.
