Re: Teaser photos

Thanks for the kind words everybody! To those that asked about the history of the photos, I agree that they are official Deere photos. Sure would like to learn more history from the fellas that worked on them back in the day! Last year I got to meet Stan Hayes, but this IFS machine was not on my min...

Re: Teaser photos

The Sportfire platform may have been used as the initial IFS proto machine. Liquid cooled sled at Waconia and now at HOF has a Sportfire front end but different front and rear suspension systems. How and where did you acquire these pictures? Do you have any view of the hood? I wish I had the origin...

Re: Teaser photos

Good input. Time for the real McCoy! I know nothing about the IFS machines except from what I've learned off this forum.

440 Liquifire no start

I got my '77 LF 440 running yesterday for the first time since the summer. I just installed the Hewtech Power Pak. Yesterday it ran great, like it should. Today, I had to pick up and drag the machine around in its parking spot, then I tried to start it but it wouldn't fire. I'm wondering if I "...

Re: '77 Liquifire hi speed problem

The clutch came off without problems, thanks to the clutch removal tool that was given to me by a former mechanic of one of the assembly lines at Horicon! I've had the 102C inspected, and both upper and lower bushings are bad, as are the buttons. Can you set me off in the right direction as to who t...
