Re: 1980 Spitfire Seat Assistance
Ok here's a bunch of pictures. I'll try and get something drawn up on my PC that lays it out nice. Where I messed up is I didn't do a "nub" on each front corner roughly ½ x ½, that's the picture I have of the front corner when on the sled. I'm leaving bolt holes out of it, get the plywood ...

Re: 1980 Spitfire Seat Assistance
I just recovered mine for my 79. Should be the same? Cut out new plywood too. I'll see if I can get some dimensions and pics for you.

Spliquifire?
I have no other way to describe it. Took me a while to get everything in there but it works. 1982 Sportfire +1997 Indy 500 = Spliquifire Just did some initial runs a few weeks ago, added my custom air box, tried again last weekend and it goes like you know what. I'll try and get some videos ...

I'm looking for a Liquifire radiator and mount for my 82 Sportfire Fuji motor project. Radiator Mount Oil tank I'm in western Wisconsin close to the twin cities. I'll happily pay shipping. I did find a couple things on eBay but I thought I'd support someone here first. If I don't hear anything in th...

Re: INVADER,MIKUNI CARB QUESTION
Thanks nitro. Yeah, there is definitely no hang up, I've had the tops off several times. If I adjust them down so that it idles correctly, then at WOT the air box side is even hanging down almost an 1/8 inch. Then when I adjust it so that the slide is all the way out of the carb throat, it doesnt co...

Re: INVADER,MIKUNI CARB QUESTION
Kenny, Great explanation on the throttle valve adjustment. I have a question, and I figured it'd be better off here than making a new thread. When I adjusted the valve up just clearing the throttle on my '82 LF, now it wont come all the way back down to the idle screw. It's like it doesn't have enou...

Re: '82 LF not revving
Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it. I took it out this afternoon. Its 40 degrees outside, so quite a bit warmer than before. This time it ran up to 7k, and only dropped to 6.5k. Another thing; while not having my helmet on, warming it up going around the yard, there is a rattle from the clu...
