Re: Stumped by a 1973 TX 295
I got it, the fuel pump mounts directly onto the engine and seals via an o ring. Fixed the O ring and the problem is gone. Thanks for your help. Onto the next project I guess.

Re: Stumped by a 1973 TX 295
I will go check. I know i have even amount of fuel from both lines though. I just can't figure out why there is no suction on the back side of that carb. Shouldn't it pull air even just cranking it over to start ? I am going to figure out what puller I need to remove the clutch and have a look at th...

Stumped by a 1973 TX 295
Hi guys, looking for some advice. I am working on a TX 295 twin cylinder with twin carbs. It has spark on both cylinders, 110 psi on both sides. Problem is that it only runs on the mag side cylinder. When i put my hand over the back of the PTO side carb there is absolutely to suction either. I spray...

Re: 1976 Moto Ski TS 340 sonic
Got the sled today, very happy. I did forget to grab the serial number but i will. Got to fix the mag side spark though. I get one bright spark on that side for about about every 5 times it sparks on the other side. What a good looking sled though, in my opinion anyway. I am going to polish the tunn...

1976 Moto Ski TS 340 sonic
Hi guys, i am picking one of these up tomorrow morning. I am getting it from the original owner and it is all complete. Do you think 1300 is to much? he hasn't run it in years but the engine is free and has good compression. Not alot of info out there on these but I love free air sleds and couldn't ...

Re: 1978 Liquifire with a KEC 340 RS/2 engine
I talked to the guy, he will let me have the whole thing for $100, so i guess i will have yet another Liquifire out back but i will pull the engine out and bring it in the warm shop to store it away for when i need it. Did they ever use that engine in anything else ?

Re: 1978 Liquifire with a KEC 340 RS/2 engine
the exhaust is from the 340s, aside from the 340s engine its nothing special, good track and chasis, junk hood. I have no pictures and its about an hour drive from here.

Re: 440 Kioritz help, please!
ok, i will do that, i will keep you posted on the results. it must be the mag side becasuse spraying carb cleaner around the clutch side does not change idle speed.

440 Kioritz help, please!
OK, my 77 440 Liquifire has got me stumped. It starts fine and idles and i can rev it up with the belt off. The problem is when i try to drive it. It takes off then bogs out badly and almost dies. I have tried two sets of carbs, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new plugs, new gas. It ran good last fal...
