Is it possible to take out spacers on the secondary to line up with the primary or are there no spacers in there? I found a 76 liquifire clutch for pretty cheap, thought it might be worth getting. The clutch on my brothers sled is in pretty bad shape, the weights are eating into the spider. I'm not ...

Will a 76 Liquifire clutch work on a Trailfire

Will the clutch from a 76 Liquifire 440 fit a 79 Trailfire 440? I'm mainly worried that the shaft is different.

I had a bearing out on one of the idlers on my trailfire, I just cut the metal on one side so I could push the bearing out and put a new one in, not the prettiest but works fine.

I hope the crank isn't bent, after I pulled the clutch I pulled the starting rope a few times and it looked ok, although I was doing it by myself so couldn't look that close. The bearing that was out still had all the balls in it and the bearing right next to it was still good.

Polaris clutch on a Trailfire?

I was recently given 2 jd snowmobiles a Sportfire and Trailfire, the clutch on the trailfire is slightly bent. I have found a polaris clutch that has the same shaft size but I think they use a 1 3/8" belt versus 1 1/4", will that still work? The clutch i'm looking at is off of a 85 indy tr...
