looking for advice
Hi, if anyone can help great have an 1980 liquifire fresh rebuild and adjusted the timing got rid of bog seems to run very well but buddie is still taking me in the hole shots with his 340 txl. I seem to stay with him once going but not gaing staying back about 4 sled lenghts. Any ideas!!! thanks ch...

Polaris clutch swap will work but will have to get an older modelwith the right tapper the larger hole so can get clutch back off and their is one other thing the back side of the clutch should be turned because of how the motor mounts and polaris plate is thicker. Thanks Chris

Thanks, have you done it? If so looking for a picture of the chain case to see how the mounting would go. Thinken would have to cut most of the old mechanical off.

Looking to see if anyone will share how they are doing the hydraulic brake confersion on the 1980-84 liquifire. Would like to do to my 1981 liquifire and would like to wreck the least amount of parts as possible.

Sorry what I am looking to do is put a newer track 15x121 and the cog pitch on the trail fire looks to be the same as the new ones where the liquifire is not.So Looking to see if anyone has done that or is their a track that I can purchase with taller lugs that would fit on without changing the driv...

Hi, have an 1980 liquifire and want to up grade track thinken that the drive sprokets from a trail fire have the right pitch. Has anyone done this and will it work or is their a better way to get a track that has more meet on it?

I do have all the manuals and carbs are clean have right jetting for the year. Thinken of jetting for a newer model and advance the timing as for idle I am at 25k so will adjust that and see how that works.Thanks for info!

1980 liquifire help!
Hi, looking for help on motor boag. It starts fine runs fine but when stop and idle it has a major boag and if shut machine off it has hard time starting but only after motor is up to temp. Has any one elese had this problem and solved it and how? Thanks Chris
