anyone covert there WD to a Makuni

I just finish converting a 77 300 to a mikuni, i used a carb off a mid 80's ski-doo safari 377, the flange has the same spacing for the bolts as well, the holes just need to be drill slightly larger, it does run slightly rich but not bad, will foul a plug once in a while if it idles for a while but ...

this accident isnt all that far away from me, probably about 45 minutes, to bad, people should realize that they are called SNOWmobiles for a reason...if they want to go across water get a boat or a jet ski.

Hey everyone...just thought that i would remind everyone of how dangerous a little fun snowmobiling can turn into, it really hit home for me this week. Handlebar pads

My 600 is a '74 and that has the short pad and the 300 is a '77 and has the pad that extends all the way to the dash, i think that this was one of the changes that took place with the new 1975 model styling.

ring gear

I wouldnt mess with trying to take the ring gear off, the flywheel is balanced and im not positive but i think it is balanced WITH the ring gear ON, taking the ring gear off could throw your flywheel off balance.
