I got the same rounded intake gaskets for my Trailfire 340.
Having a hard time convincing Dennis kirk i got the wrong gaskets.
Noticet the rounded gaskets fits the Spitfire.

Switched back to the first carb and now it idles.
Now it hesitate when from idle to full gas.
Might need a bigger idle jet?

I see, i bought them from mfg supply.
Have mailed them and they think i dont have the original engine.
My brother have a spitfire and his engine use the rounded gaskets.
Did the 340 fc engine used the rounded gaskets in aerlier engines?

Is there two kind of intakes for the 340 engine? I have a 81 kawasaki and ordered a winderosa gasket set. All gaskets fits except for the intake gaskets. Where can i find bushings for my secondary clutch?

I have pressed loose the fibermetallic one from the disc and it have a number CJS2219.
But i dont find it anywhere, only 2220 and up.

Some says crome and other nikasil.
Dont know what to belive.

Have a question about the 340 cylinders in my 81 trailfire.
Are they chromed or nikasil plated?
If chromed do i need to hone them when changing pistonrings?
Cylinderwalls are nog glaced like mirrors.

Hello i have bought a trailfire 340 and was checking the chaincase and found out the chain is bad.
Checking the sprocket and noticed they are not standard.
17 tooth and 35 tooth And the numbers is 0107-218 - 0107-325 Artic cat sprockets.
Ill guess artic cat sprockets fits on john deere. ?
