jd Muffler black high-temperature paint (TY25657) only claims to be good to 800 deg is this what was used originally? remember to be careful when blasting thin metal so as to not warp it. experience is a rascal. square flat panels may become rounded :wall:

temp gauge not working?

what kind of temperatures should i be seeing. there currently is an aftermarket gauge in it. now i am wondering maybe it does work??? it reads 105 F after about 5 min. even after riding on the road at w.o.t. it doesn't read any higher.
