How close to size of the shaft does it need to be ?

What holds the impeller on the shaft ? Is it threaded on or am I missing something ? Also if threaded on is it right or left handed ? Does anybody know what size the threads are on the end of the cable where it goes into the carb ? This is on a 83 Trailfire with a 440. The threads are messed up and need to be rethreaded. Thanks

What's a good fuel / oil mixture to use in my 76-78 Cyclones and 79 Trailfire ? With the better oil quality nowadays compared to when these sleds were produced, I am thinking I could use something different.

Just purchased 2 440 Trailfire lx models . While cleaning them I noticed one of the oil pump cables that the jam nuts are loose and out of adjustment. What is the proper setting for these so I get the cable set correctly ? Thanks
