83 Trailfire 440 lx oil pump adjustment

Just purchased 2 440 Trailfire lx models . While cleaning them I noticed one of the oil pump cables that the jam nuts are loose and out of adjustment. What is the proper setting for these so I get the cable set correctly ? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that any time I've done it, I just tension the oil pump wire so it starts moving with the throttle lever, and made sure the pump is wide open when the throttle is too.
