Randy ... by any chance do either of them have this guard under the chain case? My 84 did ... just curious

Joe - negative, I haven't seen that on any other Liquifire yet.

I was wondering what that thing was for. I have a disassembled 1980 Liquifire and one of those guards. It must have came off of it.

I went out to the garage and checked the '84, no guard on it. The Liquifire parts book lists it as optional.
