Ride with the Champs 2013

I know it's not new iron but Dave Carlson could drive my XC600. It's dependable and has a Edge rear skid with almost 14" of travel.

I will also have my 08 DOO there as well that Bob's wife tried to hurt her self on last year or my 800 renegade as well if someone would need to borrow a more comfortable sled to ride DA. But I will have a group of 4 again for the weekend and fish fry.

I spoke with Dave Carlson today. We are still on the calendar, and he is excited about coming up and hanging with us.

There are some changes in the works for the show, as Dave is in the process of retiring. Several other men and women will be doing more of the future segments of the show, as Dave gets them trained, and he phases himself out.

The upshot for us is that Dave will probably be joining us in St Germain, along with a gal from Wausau and her cameraman.

I am still looking for a couple of two-up sleds, with drivers, to use as camera platforms.

I have spoke with Jeff Zeller, but weather and trail conditions will dictate much of where we go, and how we do it.
So, much of this will get worked out the morning of the ride.

Hi Guys,

Just got off the phone with the HOF. They recieved about 6" of snow over the weekend, and another few inches last night. The weather reports show another inch falling in Eagle River today. The trails are open, and the long range forcast looks to stay cold.

I hope mother nature continues to co-operate, but it looks good for the rides as of now!

As for Celeberty riders, so far I hear Jim Dimmerman, Stan and Doug Hayes, Mike Smith, Craig Marchbank and Wayne Nicholson will be joining the Ride with the Champs, but I am not sure of what rides they will be taking.

The induction banquet and autograph session should be pretty lively with Blair Morgan's induction, not to mention John Zeglin, Norman Ball and post-humously Bob Bracey of Raider/Manta.

The weather app on my phone keeps calling for 35F and rain for Sunday (2/10/2013) in St. Germain.....any truth to that or is my weather app wrong again?
