C/C distance on a 80+ liquifires

Post by Grumpy »

Anyone know what the C/C distance is on the crank to jack shaft on a newer Liquifire?
Is there a differance on the C/C distance on the Liquifires with the TR800 clutches?
Are the belts longer on the sleds with the TR800's?

What would be the easiest way to figure out a belt length on a sled with a 12-1/2" C/C distance using say a Comet 102C & a Polaris P85 driven using a belt width of 1-3/8" or a little wider if someone produces one wider??

Thanks

You may be able to use this online calculator if you could figure out the inner diameter of the primary clutch in the open position.

Wade could you get me the C/C distance between the two clutches on your 80 CC Liquifire? I don't seem to have one available where I'm at.... I'm needing a 12.5" C/C

Thanks Harley I'll check on that when I get back & can get my mesurements correct.

Wade, the 83 FT Manual doesn't give a mesuremant for the Liquifires because the C/C distance isn't adjustable on the newer ones

Thanks

Huh, I looked in there & didn't find that info, thanks for spotting it for me..
I was afraid of that, thats still over 1/2" shorter than what I need.
The project I'm working on has a 12.5" C/C distance..
Thanks for the info... I'll have to look at other brands
