Oh come on fellas! We all know why we do it. Theres nothing like that rush of buttoning up a sled at 3:00 A.M. before a big trip or ride. Grab a case of beer, enough jerky to keep Jack Link's going for another year, and let the parts fly! :letitsnow:
1976 Liquidator - 970 mile raced sled
1975 340/S - I-500 raced sled
1978 440 Liquifire

I prefer to wrench in the summer myself, but on more than one occasion (before New Breed Parts) I've been told "we don't sell a lot of snowmobile parts in July". In fact a few years ago my local dealer couldn't get a chain case seal till fall because the distributer was out of stock and didn't intend to replenish their stock till fall.
80 Liquifire (purchased 1996 ~ Running)
80 Liquifire (purchased 2010 ~ Running....Now)
80 Liquifire (purchased 2011 ~ Not running - I officially have a problem now)
83 Snowfire (purchased 2014 father/son restoration project)
78 Spitfire ~ sold (should have been shot for this)

My fleet consits of a 2001 ZRT600-ready to go, 97 Pantera that I put a 600 triple in,needs a little more fine tuning,91 EXT530 that is ready, 79 El Tigre5000 that is running but I want to put a new track under it that I have, AND the 78 LIQUIFIRE 440 :dance: that I took out for a short maiden run today,MAG side carb is putting too much fuel to her,but have the fixes all lined up :angel: she feels like she is going to be a fine runner. :dance: The Liquifire I bought last spring, rebuilt the engine and skid frame,sled only shows 1400 miles and was pretty clean,needed TLC. First sled I drove was my dads 74 300 which he bought new,had deere not dropped out in 84 I would have been a deere rider all these years instead of cats that I've had since 86.(do like my kitties but glad finially got a deere of my own). Wrench on them some in the summer BUT gots to have snow and cold to test and verify. :beers;
