Wood seat frame

Does anyone have pictures and measurements of the plywood for the 76 liquifire?

I just did a 77 Liquifire seat

2.5 by 34.5 I think were the measurements for each strip

Try to get the pattern off the old seat if you can.
If not,the wood is notched at the front to go under the hold downs by the fuel tank.
The wood is about 2'' wide,one bolt hole for each side at back of tunnel hold the seat.
Need the nut with the spur on it for the wood strip.

I don't have an old one to go by. Someone made a base out of plywood thats as wide as the seat foam so it sits on top of the heat exchangers instead of around them. If someone has pictures of one that would be awesome, I'd like to see how/what the seat cover attaches to on each end(over the tail light and gas tank).

The wood strips lay inside the molded pockets on the sides. The wood was glued to the bottom of the foam and the seat covering was stretched over the wood on the sides and ends and stabled into place. The seat covering was glued to the bottom of the seat foam around the taillight and up front around the notches that are cut out for the seat clips. Measure the inside of the pockets in the bottom of the seat, cut the wood to fit and the lay the wood on the tunnel to figure out where to cut the notches in the front and drill the holes for the rear mount. The wood slides around the seat clip about 3/4 of an inch with the tab on top.
Here is a sketch of the what the wood strip should look like.
