my latest project its about half done should be done in a couple of weeks hopefully we will have some snow to try out

I just got my 83 finished on Christmas eve. I just have to put the new windshield on and bolt down the seat. I really enjoyed working on this sled this year. I will post a few pics of the finished product soon. Don't mean to hijack your post, but I like the painted motor, maybe we can get them togather sometime. Later Lincoln

hi Lincoln they are stock jd heads and cylinders cdi box is a reman from image

I just rode it last night for a test run. I have some clutching and clutch alignment issues. I guess my math was wrong! We put the high output ramps and a red spring in the tr800 the clutch engages a 4850, and when the secondary starts to shift, the ass end wants to pass the front. On the shop floor today, I pinned it, and it stood up and carried the skis 180 plus feet and out the door. I think we will rethink the. Set up. I am a bigger guy, and this is what was recommended to try. Later Lincoln.

Lincoln you may eat belts, granted I was running a 102c at 5500rpms, now back to stock at 4400rpms

That is the only thing I am worried about. I am toying with putting the green spring back in to lower the engagement. It would not be as bad if the new belts were available, has anyone herd more on this? Lincoln
