can i put a skid and track from a 97 polaris xlt 600 in a 76 liquifire 440

Well then, I’d think the first thing to do is measure the skid mount points to see where you’ll need to relocate them and check width. The next step would be to see if the track lugs will clear the bulkhead. If you’re good there, and the track is a 2.52 pitch, make your minor mods and mount it up. I’m guessing the drivers will need the spacing changed. If I recall, there have been other members that have mounted Polaris skids and tracks in their sleds. Anything is doable with adequate time and patience. A good budget helps too. Lol!

I put an indy 400 skid and tracking my 76 Liquifire...its a pretty easy swap, the drive wheels will fit on jd shaft with a little effort...just measure to mounting hole on the Polaris tunnel in relation to drive shaft...and drill new holes
