Now that looks awesome! I may just be interested in a set for my LF if the price is right.

New breed will be offering full sets with the ski/carbide and joe's spring mount. There are 4, 6, and 9 inch carbide options in either slp or woodys.

Todd .... here is a shot of it on the ground. As the spring compresses it creates more clearance. The one thing I have noticed is there
are no two springs quite the same. New ones have a tighter clearance and older ones can be way looser as they wear out. The first shot
camera angle did not help either.
Here is a picture of a NOS sping in the arbor press.
Preload pressure only
almost full normal travel

Joe thanks for the great pics and additional info.
I know what you are saying about tired springs. I have 86'ed many saggers over the years.
The mounts look very nice.

Re: steel saddles for plastic skis
Bringing up an old topic whatever happened to the ski saddles for the SLP skis some of the links appear to be broken thought about installing some plastic skis on my liquifire... Does anybody sell them or is it just a hobby and only a few pairs were made.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: steel saddles for plastic skis
I got a call from SLP Thursday letting me know the SLT skis I had ordered in Nov were in. The steel brackets are a whole nother deal.

Re: steel saddles for plastic skis
The new ones are being cut at this time. Likely 2 or 3 weeks before they are complete. Any preference on Flat black or gloss powder coat???
