1980 Trailfire Part Out

Post by bradski12 »

Hello all, I have a 08/79 (1980) date code parts sled (incomplete) that my son and I have started to tear into.

I will start to post pictures of items as we get them tore off and cleaned up. If any immediate needs, let me know and I will be happy to help you out with pricing, I dont have a need for any TF440 parts at the moment. I will say, the hood and tunnel are in phenomenal shape, no major cracks, dents or issues - just small wear and tear/scratches. Also, 440 e-start engine...Located in Medina, OH USA.

Thanks,
Brad

Hood is in great shape. No cracks or issues with the fiberglass. Small scratches and basic wear. Hood vents, grill, headlight housing (light not avaialble), other pieces are in good condition. Would be a great donor hood or replacement for a project.

Backrest - Good conition. Chrome is rusty from the fasteners, but not pitted. Can be/needs to be polished for simple restoration. Small cracks in back rest plastic/padding, but a great surivor piece for your sled.

Left and right side belly pans/side panels. Overall in fair->good shape. Two small cuts in the exhaust hump area otherwise, no major scratches or dents on clutch side. A good set as needed for spares or a wrecked sled.

Hello, wondering if you have a complete driveshaft with the drivers in tack. Looking for the 8 tooth 2.52” drivers to replace the shaft and drivers for my ‘76 Cyclone.

Hello, unfortunately the driveshaft, and drivers already gone. Thanks for the interest. Good luck in your continued search!
