Liquifire motor mount.

Post by kenv56 »

I dont know if any of you remember my problem with my belt flying apart on my 80 liquifire in december, but i believe i found the problem. I took the engine out of the sled and found that the motor mount is separtating, the rubber from the steel.

Kev,

Unless the steel inside part is loose from the steel outter mount you are OK. I can't tell from the pic if the rubber has delaminated from inbetween the two pieces. I have a few NOS if you end up needing one.

Good Luck,

The steel inner part is loose from the outer part. The middle picture shows it the best.
