You want a CHEAP suggestion, Don't drive it!
Your DRIVE clutch is like a 8000 RPM hand granade, If it needs repair & you can't afford to repair it or replace it, Well ??
If you just got the sled & or haven't looked at the Drive clutch in many years you need to do so, first by removing it & disassembleing the front cover once you do this the spring tension will be off the moveable sheave, at that point you will be able to visually inspect the ramps/weights for worn bushings or pins/bolts, you will also be able to look at the rollers to see if they are also extremally loose & for cracked or missing clutch buttons, also you will be able to ck the movable sheave for a bad bushing & or cracks in it. you will not however be able to repalce the clutch buttons or rollers unless you remove the spider. to do so you will most likely need someone with the correct tools to do so as the spiders are ussually loc-tited on.

Make sure she spends enough to get the good puller not the cheap ones, it'll be worth the extra money in the long run.
Have her understand that haveing the sled will like "Hey look at it this way it keep you out of her hair"
