No Bob, that is Forrest Hess. He lives near me, and I've met him in person. I attended his HS graduation party, and he came down to my place and drive a hydrogen fuel cell powered Chevy Equinox.

Darn nice kid, and even owns a Deere JDX.

The Kidsonic thing turned out a lot worse than anyone imagined. I was one of the people that was completely clueless. Have to admit that I got a little ticked when there was a "Kidsonic" response that really bugged me to one of JRC's posts. I posted a reply & got a pretty quick response from a moderator with the offending post being quickly removed. I just figured that Kidsonic was one of the snot-nosed kids on there that was lacking in the respect department. It's too bad that it went on as long as it did. It's even worse that things got to the point that Larry felt he had to shut down the Bull Sessions for a while. I didn't come across the statement about Kidsonic being handicapped, but I'm sure not saying it didn't happen.

It's a bummer when these things happen. Since this is my #2 site as far as what I check daily (probably be #1 now) I hope you guys can learn from others mistake and keep things going.

Good job guys, your efforts and your site are certainly appreciated.

I have always loved jdsleds.com because it is about John Deere sleds and really maintains that mission and focus. Between JD racing sleds, consumer sleds, restorations and the wealth of living history represented by ETD and Independant racers, there is much about which to talk. It's really nice to come here and enjoy stories about John Deere sleds, the Horicon branch, racers, mechanics, etc without other distractions.

I have received much John Deere tech info from some really great people and they are, without fail, cordial, decent, humble and kind. It is a group of gentlemen and even some ladies who never learned trash-talk. The classifieds are always very rich with John Deere sleds and parts. If you're into John Deere snowmobiles, you're in the right place.

Swede, I'm pretty sure your here not because you like JD's. I don't see any "smear" campaign on this board you are talking about. Matt S. "our administrator" won't allow it. Whatever happened over at the Bsessions is Larry's problem to deal with not one of his cronies creating an account because he's lost & has nowhere to go. The bottom line is most of the guys here have a pretty good understanding of what happened with the Kidsonic thing. We've seen the Emails, heard from guys "in the know". Maybe not all was 100% but I don't think it was too far off. Weren't you involved with the spoof account? Passing judgement? Isn't that what you're doing here? Take it someplace else. The guys on that board took a dump in thier own backyard. It's not going to happen here. Aaron Zeoli

Oh geez Grant, you've just never had dinner with us!!! That Chuck (or insert any other name here) can really be a potty mouth. You should hear Joe R talk to waiters............. We're just trying to maintain a decorum here........

For all: My thanks goes to to Joe Rainville for the personal conviction to extend himself publicly in calling out behavior unfitting to the passion of Vintage Snowmobiles. My thanks to Matt, and Larry Preston for the courage to build and maintain sites for our vintage passions. My welcome to new members of this site that seek a mature dialog reflecting the passion and interest in vintage snowmobiling. Finally to the offenders that had a "break in common sense and maturity" you recieve 1 go pass with a apology and pledge to continue to support vintage snowmobiling with a renewed commitment to honesty and integrity from this old seat and handle bar tester. In closing......Peace.... there was never a "grassy knoll" or movement to discredit any one from this site. We are just farmers with a desire to go fast! JRC ETD

This is exactly the kind of stuff that is unnecessary. AZ, I sure wish you had a clue to all of the things that went on. You wouldn't be actiing like this.

JRC, thanks for the great attitude. After the last week or so, it is so refreshing!

We have the same conditions as Scott does. It's actually okay with me until we get my corn combined but then I will be ready for a little trip. I got my 400 working great last week and would like to try it out.
