Anything I should know to make this easier... do they require any pre-wetting??

I use the gallon of water and drop of soap trick. The Sprintfire hood should be straightforward as there are no curves on the hood like the Trailfire/Sportfire/Liquifire hoods. Those hoods are a bit trickier. However, just the opposite is true of the tunnels. The Snowfire/Sprintfires are very tricky because of the factory strength stampings in them. Essentially, the tunnels are wavy on the Snow/Sprint's. You'll need a heat gun and patience. The Trailfire/Sportfire/Liquifire tunnels are straight and thus very straightforward in applying decals to the tunnels of these sleds. Just make sure you work in a warm area and your tunnel/hood is clean before starting.
www.jdsleddecals.com should have the remaining decals you would need.

Thank you Robb,
Again these are the smaller hood decals (the ones that say "sprintfire").
I thought I remember reading using isopropyl alcohol... but from your post I gather they are peel and stick?
Thanks again.

I either use warm water and a touch of dishwashing soap and wet up the area good with this. squeegee out from middle of the decal working outward. Frank at Engineered Graphics also sells a bottle of solution hat works very good for applying decals.

When I applied the decals to the cyclone I used a window tint installation kit I picked up at auto zone. Came with the solution and a nice soft squeege for working out any air bubbles.

Sorry for returnig to this... never installed any decals.
These are for a hood. The decals seem to have a plastic (solid) backing which will peel away fairly easily. this leaves, however, what I presume is the back of the decal (only moderately tacky - BTW) but is still not "clear". Is there another layer that will come off with soap/water?? Based on my limit attempt (when dry) I cant get that cloudy layer (film?) to separate even at the corners.
Thanks
