Fan bearing -295 twin Kohler
Fan bearing -295 twin Kohler
Are the fan bearings still available aftermarket? Or is it a common bearing? Didn't pull it apart yet, but can feel play in it.

I don't remember for sure, I rebuilt mine a couple years ago, but I think this is a standard aftermarket bearing that you can pick up at most farm supply stores or equipment parts dealers.

These just press in and out of the housing? Took a spare mag housing off a parts motor, had to beat the fan assy out of the bearings. Seemed like a tight press fit with a nice corrosion coating to seal it in there.... Just press out the old bearings and replace? With the aluminum housing I can't see putting alot of force on it.
