JDM-104 & JDM-41-5 & M66939x

Post by RLFollman »

Trying to identify a couple tools that don't appear to ever have been used and some other part. Anyone know specifically what they're used for?

Randy, those tools are of no value. Suggest they be sent to Indiana for further examination.

JDM-104 is a Flywheel Holding Tool for the Kohler Spitfires
I'm not sure what JDM-41-5 is, but sequencially it follows the service kit JDM-1-C which is listed in SM-2100
JDM-41-1 Clutch Puller
JDM-41-2 Screw Assembly, Swivel and Ring
JDM-41-3 Spider Tool
JDM-41-4 Two-Piece Nut
JDM-42 Clutch Pulley Aligner
JDM-43 Flyweight Retaining Tool

You're on a roll Mitch... don't stop there. Unless the JDM-104 also works on a Kawasaki Spitfire, I don't need it.

Thank you everyone for the info below, much appreciated. Looks like none will be of any use for my sleds.

JDM-104 is a Flywheel Holding Tool for the Kohler Spitfires

JDM-41-5 - The square block with the pin is to use on a Comet 100 Series Clutch...you install the tool for the spider removal, then install this block & put the block in a vice. Then, using a breaker bar, loosen or tighten the spider.

M66939x - The curved piece of flat steel is intended to be welded on the front of the '74 - '76 suspension rail when installing the 2/3 track; it replaces the small round rod.
