Post by hounds84lhs »

Hi, rebuilding a 1980 Liquifire. Where can I buy all four hoses for the radiator and heat exhanger? I see New Breed has one, where can I get the other 3?

They are usually in great shape so there has been no repops. If yours are pretty worn I'm sure I have some extras in nice shape.

Kenny; How about the 80's LF airbox hose? I know I have been asked at least 50 times if I have this part and My reply is always the same. "NO" and "I need 2 myself". Either style will work for me.. :usa:

jdrob, that could be a possibility, but I think that the airbox screens would also be a good repop???

Kenny I totally Agree 100%. I believe the Sportfire and trailfire tubes Could be easily fabricated at home. At least the basic tube anyway. The Liquifire tube is going to take some finess b/c of the perforated tubing.

Also Kenny do you know if the seals you had re-popped for the earlier airboxes (dator,340/s ??) would they possible fit the tubes from the newer fire series airboxes? OR are they a completely different style. Maybe MATT can answer this question as well? :usa:

rob, I believe the part numbers are the same. This past winter Chris & I fabricated a couple of Dator air tubes from scratch, I think that they turned out to be as good looking as the Chinese ones I had repoped... If someone can send me one from a trailfire or sportfire I'll try them out when I get back north after Christmas.. I'll see IF I can find some flat perferated material like the Fire series Liquifires use also.
