The engine runs great for awhile.. Then it just idles and won't rev up.. This seems to be a common problem with Deere sleds.. has anyone solved this issue? I'm going to try a fuel pump to see if that changes anything.
I replaced the crank seals, cleaned carb and replaced spark plugs.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I had the same problem with y 83 liquid I just finished, tinkered with it for hours, then I called a friend and he said to remove the exhaust pipe! It ran like a dream. The problem was a mouse nest in the pipe. Problem solved. Later lincoln

Always a good idea to clean out the acorns, dog food, seat foam and twine from the exhaust.
Your revving problem could be a faulty CDI. Try swapping out a know good unit.
