chain case lube

I read the FAQ about chain case lube, and how SAE 30 is what is recommended. but was wanting some opinions on using 10W 30 motor oil. My thought was it could be better at lower temps with its reverse viscosity.

Any info is greatly appreciated

I've used 10W 30 and it seems to work well at low temps.

I use ATF in mine, haven't had any trouble with it.
