I was wondering where you guys get your crank bearing O rings? Are they something standard which can be found at a auto parts store or are they a special order. I am guessing they are metric. TA440A-D202 1981 trailfire. Help me out guys.

They should be the same as the old arctic cats that they used. Arcti cats used to use kawasaki engines. Central SNowmobile in green bay carries them. They are a 62 mm o ring. I would bet you could match them up at an auto parts store or a place like Motion Industries or any place that sells bearings if you have an old part number.

Are we talking about the two rubber o-rings one the crank between the weights? If so, how do you put those on? just slide them over the weights??

That's all I did. Two for the seal in the middle, and a new one for each of the bearings in the middle. I was nervous that I was going to snap them but they all stretched over just fine.

Helps if you soak them in hot water for a little bit before you put them on.
