1980 LIQUIFIRE FOR SALE
Cool old school custom sled. According to previous owner, who bought it when it was a few years old, the original owner had AAEN port and modify the engine for performance. The hood has a very cool 1980's custom airbrush paint job. Mechanically the sled is excellent. Track and suspension looks great...

Re: Has anyone converted a Cyclone to an all rubber track?
Thanks for the help Joe. I definitely want to keep the original stance, so I think I'll keep the Cyclone suspension and put the AC track on.

Re: Has anyone converted a Cyclone to an all rubber track?
Is there any way to or advantage to use the cat skid as well, or am I better off using my cyclone skid?

Has anyone converted a Cyclone to an all rubber track?
I am getting ready to start restoring a 76 Cyclone 440 that I have had for several years. The cleated track that is in it is in rough shape. Are there any rubber tracks still in production that could be converted to work on this sled without a lot of major modifications to the skid or tunnel? I am n...

Anyone at $275 for the trailer and 2 sleds? If not, I'll probably start parting them out in a couple of weeks.

JD SLED TRAILER + 76 L/F 340 + 77 L/F 440 PRICE DROP! $275
Original John Deere 2-place trailer plus 2 complete sleds. Will only sell as a set. Purchased with the intentions to restore trailer, but have a baby on the way in January, so I need to thin out the projects. Trailer has some rust, but is very restorable. Could take the 2 sleds to build 1 and have l...

Re: New sled
My Deere tractors were the gateway drug that led to the Deere sleds for me. No rehab can bring me back. BE CAREFUL!!!!! Jeff

Re: Where have all the posts gone ?
I'm with ya. I have been trying to avoid all of the drama of Facebook. This site still has a bunch of good guys on it and a lot of excellent resources. My family keeps trying to get me to FB, but up until now, I have avoided it. I have seen lots of stupid fights start because of "he said she sa...

FOR SALE 1976 LIQUIFIRE 340 & 1977 LIQUIFIRE 440
2 complete sleds, but in rough condition. Will only sell as a pair. Trailer not included-- I purchased them for the trailer and have no use for the sleds. Could take the 2 to build 1 and have lots of parts left over. Tracks good on both. 340 engine stuck, but 440 turns over and has compression. Both...

Re: What do you guys know about this trailer?
Thanks for all of the input. I have thought for a while that it would be neat to find a Deere trailer for a display item and to use as mobile storage. It definitely won't see use in the winter, as I know all too well that steel trailers and salt don't mix-- my steel trailer in the late 80's only las...

What do you guys know about this trailer?
I pulled home this nice load this evening. :lol22: I think that they are both 77's-- a 340 and a 440, along with the trailer. Both of the sleds are parts sleds and I had to take them to get the trailer. It is a John Deere trailer and still has remnants of John Deere decals. It is a fixer upper, but ...

Re: Source for recoil spring..??
I just bought a couple of new recoil springs for my 2 Liquifires on Ebay, as well as the kits to rebuild the rest of the recoil that includes the pawls, pawl springs, and backing plate. Pretty reasonable price and it will make your recoils like new again. Jeff

Re: Laying down some tracks... Weekend fun.
Today was a fair day for snowmobiling across the state line from you in NW Indiana. We didn't have any substantial snow on the ground before last night. We had about 5 inches, but it was the fluffy type that the skis just go right through. We put about 20 miles on both the Liquifire and Trailfire, b...
