the invader has 36mm mikuni econo jet carbs on it and i think the liquifire has regular 34mm mikunis

So i have a complete 81 440 invader at my dispose thats a parts machine and i was thinking about putting the carbs from the invader on my 78 liquifre with a 440 Kioritz. my question is would there be any gain by doing this? what would i do for jetting? has anyone done this swap? the invader has the ...

is there a way to do it with out using the john deere alingment tool since i sure they are hard to come by, or does someone have one to measure i can just make one (i work at a machine shop)

i have a 78 lf with a 77 lf 440 engine when i'm on hard pack or in deep snow and hold it wide open for longer than 3-4 seconds it starts to lose power and pretty much just drops off. i've done abunch of reading on reading plugs and have done the tests and from what i'm seeing is the engine is runnin...
