Re: Prototype 1978 Liquifire?
Those last pictures are amazing. It's not the first picture. The second picture is the most look alike. The last one is the nicest color sceam I've ever seen on a deer to bad that never happened. The first picture with no red in it I really like to. Looks great.

Re: Prototype 1978 Liquifire?
The picture with the four liquifires in it. It's the one in the bottom corner with no cab? If so where is the cab and is there any differences?

That is cool. Deffently a 78 by color and decals but it's hard to argue with a stamped build date.

Re: 3 wheeler info sought
Should be worth a few bucks. Most collectors like to here it was a barnfind. If it cleans up nice and runs good i would list it for 6-800 around here. The kawi 3 wheelers are pretty rare there was not many produced.

Re: Family Photos
Those old photos ate great! It's always good to have a story with it. I need to ask the guy that showed me deere sleds if he has any old pictures like that. He owned a Deere dealership and still has 4 1980 fire series sleds. All look like they did when he had them on the floor.

I agree with Matt it does resemble a arctic cat. But it is a nice look but still glad they turned out like they did.

That is so cool. Looks about 1976 or so I'd say. Kind of looks like the citation 300 also. Sure am glad the spitfire never went into production looking like that.

Re: The kid has taste
Looks good the old Polaris look is nice but as a diehard Yamaha guy it is somewhat defacing the machine. Everyone has there own opinion or 2 cents.

Re: How sweet it is ..... Check it out
That clay spitfire is very interesting. It seems the motor is more to the right side rather then the left like the spitfires are. Nice to see they put a Koehler in it right from the beginning. Best spitfire I ever owned was my 80 chassis with the 78 koehler motor. Sled ran so good and was the most d...

Re: How sweet it is ..... Check it out
As long as we are taking prototypes.... What was the hood on the original Deere sled with the twin headlights? That clay JDX looks very similar to Skiroule RX. just saying.... I was thinking that to it has the ahead of its time look with the running board and the hood sleeked back. And it's even a ...

Re: John Deere Paint Jobs
Sexy girls and John Deere equipment! Probably my favorite thing in the world. I have an old picture of one of my ex girlfriends posing on my first spitfire I ever had. I can't post it because we were like 14 years old so it would be a little inappropriate. Sorry guys. It would be cool to have a babe...
