Re: Snowmobiling in Texas

We get "the :shifty: look" in Kansas also. Until you get "the :shifty: look" you don't know what we are talking about but once you get it - you'll know what we are talking about.

'75 JD 800 Liquifire ***SHARP***

Guys, I acquired in a nice trade a very special ’75 800 because it was cute (so she says) and we don’t get a ton of snow down here and the bogies are attractive for this and it was the same year I was born and I have a problem with purchasing JD sleds that I will never admit…….. I am looking for the...

Re: How do I quiet down my sled?

This post reminds me of a funny story about a JD300…..it was one of our first sleds down here in Flatlanderville. One of our first sleds (15 year ago) was this JD300 with a “custom” exhaust. Well it snowed and we were out terrorizing the town when a pick-up pulled up and said, “the cops are looking ...

Re: '81 LF Project Question 102C

I think that is good information. We are at 1360 and google says Duluth is at 600. Does that 700' matter? Does 1700' matter? I am curious as to why the AM55325 isn't included in the chart of available weight kits? Was it only available after the '81 and before the TR-800?

Re: NOS gasket sets beware! :$

I just recently rebuilt a 340 invader and it ran super for 2 days. I missed the part in all of my reading that toymech said "Most guys on this forum use them with very little problem other than having to perform a re-torque once or twice." The kids had it out and I knew everything was &quo...

'81 LF Project Question 102C

I have restored several Kawasaki sleds but for some reason I have been drawn to the "green" side. Maybe it is the guys that create the warmth of family in this group or maybe the midwestern upbringing and the prestige of a "JD"......I am currently putting a '81 l/F together on th...

Re: 1984 Liquifire Value

"although they only built 420 of them, they "seem" to have a good survior rate" as i was reading this I was thinking the same thing. I am not a serious collector but when I found my '83 and '84 the same day, I was surprised. I knew the low production numbers on the '84 and though...
