It's a common issue but usually because they are flooding. You have the opposite problem. Did you use the choke when restarting after the long sit? If so and that didn't help then a primer may help out. Ya I had the choke open without any throttle input but besides the random no start it runs beaut...

So I took the sled to work and cleaned the carb again and checked the pump out compared it to a known good pump Put a new carb boot on Replaced the pulse line with a automotive grade hose And she runs again but I have to take it out for a rip to make sure ! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/21/0d...

I only use thick wall 1/4" black fuel hose on the impulse to prevent collapse and fuel starvation and lean running. I'd recommend trying that first, then move to the carb. New carb parts are essential i.e. needle and seat, clean jets, float bowl gasket and all set properly. Genuine mikuni is p...
