73X8 that my dad bought new and put away in 75 with 176 miles on it. I got it out in the early 80's and was dumb enough to sell it in 1990 for $250 with only 280 miles on it. I really wish I could find that sled again :sad:

Thanks, I'll check the chokes again to be sure but, they seem to be working fine. I didn't replace any parts in the carbs, I just disasembled everything , soaked all the parts overnight and cleaned them before re-assembly. There was a LOT of crap in the carbs when I started so I guess it's possible ...

Just need to know what drive belt is needed for an 80 LF.

I had a great time meeting others that are into vintage sleds. Now if you guys could move just a little closer to me...........LOL. The drive back was much better. It only took a little over an hour vs. over 2 hours to get down there. I'm looking forward to doing it again.
