Deere Running Free

I’ll post a couple of pics my wonderful bride took of me on my ‘78 Liquifire last winter. I’ve posted some of these to various Facebook sites, but I know some people don’t do the whole Facebook thing! Hope everyone is having a good summer! :sled:

Re: '78 Liquifire 1st sled need advice

Found this post while searching for a solution to my challenge... On the last couple of rides, I’ve noticed my Tach on my 1978 440 Liquifire is doing the same as what you’ve described here... engine is running strong, but the Tach is only showing 1000-1200 revs. As I throttle up, the engine noise an...

Re: 1978 Liquifire 440

That was going to be my first question to the previous owner. Before I could ask he told me they had been done about 2 years ago. The previous owner didn’t use it much, but wanted it ready to go when he wanted to use it. From the look of some of his other toys, he takes good care of his stuff!

1978 Liquifire 440

My father bought a 1978 Liquifire new. He replaced his ‘76 Liquifire because he liked the addition of the radiator to the cooling system as well as the lighter skid. With basic maintenance (bearings, plugs, belts) he rode that machine until 1993, when he decided to buy a newer machine with easier ac...

Quick question on that Arctic Cat track... Will this track also work with the regular '78 440 Liquifire skid?

LED Lighting Question

I'm wondering about the use of LED lighting tech in older sleds. There was a post about this from a few years ago, but has there been any investigation into this since? In the older post, there was discussion about using a low watt LED in the tail light and maybe a brighter bulb up front. The sled i...
