yeah i was actually just looking at it today and measured the inside of it with the hood closed It is actually bigger than I thought so I can probably fit a Rotax 500-521 but I know that stock pipes wouldn't fit because of height problems has anyone ever lowered a belly pan before on one of these or...

I have been looking for this part for ever the only option is to replace the entire ignition system to a more resent type but this is very time consuming=expensive and doesn’t always work. if the sled is only backfiring wind back the timing you will lose a bit of power but at least it will move

1980 spitfire cdi/coil replacement?????
So as always I have a failing cdi but this is in my 1980 Jd spitfire with the Kawasaki 340 f/a and there seems to be no reproduction cdi for it so is there a different system that I can change it to or am I going to need to find a different engine

It is totally normal to pick a spitfire up and the suspension doesn’t extend and when the suspension is working perfectly it isn’t that good just take the skid out jump on the sprung arm in the front that one almost always works if it is stiff don’t even bother about the back and if the back is stuc...

Mix diesel nail polish remover two stroke oil and c.l.r. In equal parts put it on the bearing light it on fire and start prying this is what I do for any rusted bearing or engine component and this usually works
