How's your project coming along? I just put seals in my 440 Trailfire too. Haven't gotten it running yet because now it has no spark.

I have a 1981 Trailfire with the fan cooled Kawasaki 440 engine. I removed it, took it apart and installed new seals. It went back together very smoothly. I reinstalled into the sled today and now it doesn't have spark. Any thoughts? Stumped!

I had one like this a few years back and tried this trick I picked up from another forum. Pure water into the bolt hole, put thread tape on the threads of the puller and tighten it into the clutch just enough to start to hydraulic the water.
