Re: 1980 Liquifire Lower coolant hose remedy
I have one of these hoses on order from NAPA. I had them cross reference the Federated P/N. The hoses are not very plentiful so plan to pay some shipping and wait a few days unless you are lucky. The link below will take you to the NAPA site. Mine should be in next week so I can let you know how it ...

Paul that is a good suggestion for splicing the hose. That's the plan if I cant find a replacment. Already have the bracke...

1980 LF Suspension Shock
I finally got around to taking a look at my suspension after the ER trip back in Feb. When the suspension was out I noticed that there was shock oil all over everything. Apparently the shock is blown. Went to DK online and found they have them for about $35. It is a Parts Unlimited Brand shock and f...

That could be a possibility. What is it that he has and would want to exchange? boetie83@yahoo.com if you have any more info. Not really looking to make any long trips but might be worth it depending on what he has. Let me know.
Thanks.

Is this original and in what timeframe did Deere do this? Does anyone have any insight on this? I thought they went from a painted steel tunn...

From left to right... Paul's, Troy's, Eric's, mine. This was the begining of a 2 mile journey that ended with a trip back for a truck and trailer to pick up the 500. Troy had to finish the day on a New Breed of Deere... Eric's 82 Trailfire.

As 427cobra said... loading everything up tonight! Getting a new idler pulley put on the truck today so that it doesnt go out on the way up. As far as the sled is concerned... Have the other head put on and torqued down now. Everything is put back together and the sled seems to run alright. Have not...
