I need a temp gauge for my 440 LF, it is my understanding that a generic one from napa will work. Does anyone have some kind of number or description that I can give them to get one. The original is long gone and the replacement quit last winter, the sled is several hours away right now and would like to have a temp gauge to install after my first scare this winter.
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
Scott

Scott,
The mounting hole is around 2 inches in diameter. Ask for a gauge that starts around 100 degrees F or lower. The normal operating range is 140-160 degrees for the liquifire. I have a SunPro gauge that barely moves from 100. The sensing bulb will probably have a flex cable of 3 ft or more, you will have to coil it up and wire-tie it together.

Is it a generic end or do I need a particular one to tread into the motor?
