Re: Hoses for the 76-78 Liquifires, Dator, & possibly newer fire

Kenny go down to your local partsmart, automotive supply place etc. They will sell aftermarket rad hoses for cars, trucks. They will have catalogues, for example, Dayco. In the back of the cats, there will be pictures of every hose they sell, they list the outside diameter, inside diameter, etc. Any...

Re: liq pipe

If I remember correctly, there was a high performance pipe available for the 440. It added a couple more horsepower. The way to tell the difference is the normal pipe, when installed, comes to around the front of the chaincase cover, while the hp version is appox. 6, 7 inches longer in the body, com...

Re: NOS Liquidator Tank on Ebay

I agree with Jdsledsrgr8 both comments. He hit the nail on the head. After 20 plus years of trying to find a Liquidator crank, or complete engine, to repair mine, the chase is no longer fun, and hasn't been for years. Every time you see someone mention about finding some parts, or they know where th...

Re: A Tale of Two Bulkheads: I-500 Prep

We did a backwards track install years ago, didn't really notice any acceleration difference. But we did notice that after a while, the lugs on the bottom of the track started to become damaged from spinning in the opposite direction. Something to keep an eye on.

Re: wanted '78 coil cover

I have 4 original 1978 440 Liquifires, coil covers on all of them. Have owned them since early 80's, haven't changed a coil on any of them yet, and they are still used every other day.

Re: Fuel Economy Survey

This will be my third winter on my 1200 MXZ Renegade. Have about 13 1400 miles on it, mileage is getting better as it breaks in. Usually will get around 110 to 130 miles per tank depending on throttle usage. Ride with lots of buddies who run 670, 670HO, IQ's, Cats, etc. Usually when we fill up at so...

Re: Saskatoon! Anyone Live Near Me?

Jeff, I talked to you this spring about sleds, saying you should come down here and get some of these, but then we played phone tag, and I forgot to follow up. I'm about 20 minutes from Griffin, so if your heading down there, you have to go right by my place. Let me know if your coming some time. Th...

Re: Genuine used Dator air box

In my humble opinion, since Kenny sacrificed his original Dator box for the greater good of all us Liquidator owners, I find it fitting that all of us who purchased a repo box from him, should all chip in and pay for an original replacement box for him. Without his box being destroyed, we would not ...
