Re: 1978 Cyclone
Maybe someone got the year wrong and its actually a 77 without the compartment or switched
it to a 77 tank for extra fuel capacity. Is the sled the 78 color scheme?

Cool, I have one to re-assemble someday. Kinda a cool oddball sled that is very quick but not much on the big end. Is the lever that locks it out to nuetral still in working condition? I have a few cases that the cable boss is broke off. The one I will probably use has a small lever cobbed on so I w...

It runs out good for a 340 fanner and fits a 6foot 2 275lb guy well. I have a 76 440 liquifre that is my next project. I had it running and the prestolite cdi gre...

cyclone hyfax
guys, i have a 78 cyclone that spit the hyfax out the back because the little nut tab that was tig welded to the rail broke off. Short of pulling the skid and fabbing some new pieces, has anyone drilled and tapped the front of the rail and held the fax on with a screw? Not sure if there is enough be...

cyclone air intake
Yesterday I was taking some parts off of a free 76 cyclone donor sled I found and noticed that there is an aluminum plate behind the headlight to direct intake air to the rubber hose, I looked at my 78 cyc and 76 liq and they are not there, are they supposed to be? If so does it matter much and does...
