Re: Fire series suspension grease fittings

I recently pulled a suspension on a liquifire to replace a hydraulic shock. I had gone through this suspension about 5 years ago and had anti-seized all the shafts at that time. I checked them and they all still moved freely and were easily pushed out. Hope that helps.

Re: what year of cover is this?

I have that same cover as the one on ebay. It is a fire series cover it will fit over a 78 liquifire but its to short to use the rear tie straps to secure it to the back of the sled.

Re: Clutch Puller for '81 Trailfire 340

You can remove the retaining bolt off your primary and get a bolt that will thread in the housing the same as the clutch puller would I think it's 7/8 fine thread not 100 percent sure (I'm at work). Fill the housing with grease use Teflon tape on your 7/8 bolt and thread it in by hand remove and rep...

If anyone is interested in it I would be able to pick it up and store it for them. I drive by there once a week.

Re: New sled

I know how you feel. You really don't need it but it's in good condition and the price is right gotta have it. It's a relative cheap hobby but right now I have too many to ride and I really have a hard time selling one. Must be a symptom of Deere snowmobiles.

Re: What do you guys know about this trailer?

I have no idea how many were made but I believe there were two different sizes one for the earlier mid mounts and one for newer models with the wider ski stance. I don't know how many are left or if there is any demand for them. I think they would work great for summer vintage shows but I wouldn't w...

Nice group of sleds hope you had fun. This is our group heading over to the Wanimigo vintage ride last weekend The Black bandit x8 had to tow the Massey home, he insisted on doing it. It was good humor!

Re: Liquidator

Bob, Looking at the hood the only other info I know of is the sponsor :lkvl ftgn oil was owned by his twin brother Jerry, he delivered fuel oil to homes in the area. He's still lives here but he's not a real personable guy (never seems to be in a good mood). The large orange plate on the side is act...
