I need to split the case on this engine, but am unsure what is used to reseal the halves after new crank seals are installed. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well, I thought I just had one of these carbs. Cleaning up in my garage, I opened a drawer that had 2 more! I am much better on parts now. Found one to be nicer, and plan on using it instead. The Spitfire 340 was my first snowmobile. Its what made me love snowmobiling. I say fix them. I just traded two project sleds for 2 project Spitfires. Turns out out both engines are low compression. My buddy who bought my sled off of another buddy I had sold the sled to when it shucked the track.......

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you bore them.... ....dont they have to be replated too? Nikasil plated cylinders arent they? The pistons are shot.
