Gasket kits

I finally got around to ordering pistons for my Sport I burned down a month or so ago. Dad ordered Winderosa gasket sets from somewhere, part no. 711048 fits kawasaki 440. They don`t fit.... not even close. So since I have to order a set now, I was wondering what some of you prefer? I think I rememb...

Big Mistake!!!

O.k. I got a story about me being dumb. :eh: About two years ago I spotted an 81 SF, on a trailer not far from home. It was a ways off the road, and since it always sat out, I didnt think too much about it, and never got around to inquiring about it. I kinda forgot about it until last summer when I ...

Thats very interesting! I`ll have to check my two tonight. I doubt either one are though. No TR800`s anyway.

I guess the price on that LF doesnt look too bad anymore!

Lack of Low End Power

Thats what the tech manual claims. The 80 I am working on now has the 22/39 so who knows.

Was it optional when you ordered a new Liquifire? Or did you get the factory installed set, and swap them out after delivery?

Lack of Low End Power

I thought 80 and 81 had 22/35 66 factory installed, and 21/39 68 in 82.

pressure testing results

You gotta split the case.

Speaking of pressure testing, where can I find the rubber to seal off the intake and exhaust? Id like to build a system soon.

Liquifire Crank

Kickass! I`ll probably send it to him along with the other crank. I guess I should start looking for a good case, so I can leave my spares alone for now.

Liquifire Crank

I bought a really strait 80 LF at a farm auction last spring, for cheap, and have been working on it a little lately. I decided to go through the engine, and everything else on the sled, instead of trying to get it running. Glad I did. Yesterday, I pulled the engine, and since it was warm out took t...

1980 LF fuel pump question

I`ve been wondering the exact same thing.

I just took a five plate apart and cleaned it, I want to replace the o-ring, and call it good... I hope. I got a couple of the new smaller style mikunis which are far more simple inside, but I wonder if they flow as good.

Need Wife Sleed

Direct drive sleds for sure for the wimmerns!

Ive never seen a sprintfire, did they have electric start as an option?

A trailfire, with electric start, probably wouldnt be a bad choice either.

Don`t forget the handwarmers!

82 Liquifire crankcase question

If it blocks the vent hole, I wouldnt use it. I wouldnt accept it as better than oem either. The two piece seal has always worked fine.

Just my two cents.

What company did they come from? Did it come in a gasket set?

Exhaust Question

I bought an 80 Sportfire for parts a week or two ago, and it had a LF exhaust. It ran great, I rode it around the yard, parked it, and then robbed a bunch of parts off of it.

Also if I remember the TF and SF both have the same strait weld on the top for ID.
